This project of the Provincial Council of Jaén brings together different tourist-literary proposals and gives continuity to other actions for the revaluation of this immense cultural heritage of this land, such as the magnificent Literary Atlas of the Province of Jaén of the Institute of Giennenses Studies or the management of the Miguel Hernández Legacy, with a special mention of the launch of the Universal Poet Museum in Quesada, an essential visit. This province has seen the birth of prominent figures of Hispanic literature and has served as a home and inspiration for great names in classical literature. With this inspiration, "Literary routes through the province of Jaén" offers proposals to follow the footprint in our province of eight distinguished authors in ten different locations and more than one hundred milestones with literary echoes. The pen of Jorge Manrique, Santa Teresa de Jesús, San Juan de la Cruz, Antonio Machado, Federico García Lorca, Miguel Hernández, Antonio Muñoz Molina or Juan Eslava Galán, will now guide us on an extraordinary and evocative journey through Jaén.
